Installed right the first time

Most fixture installs look simple until the old shut-off valve will not close, the supply line is the wrong size, or the drain under the old vanity was never done properly. We handle those surprises as part of the job.

We install fixtures you have bought yourself, or supply them for you. Every connection is checked for leaks, and worn shut-off valves are replaced when they need it, so you have a working valve under the new fixture.

Condo installs are planned around your building's rules, including notice to management and any shut-off the work needs.

Fixture installs in Toronto homes

In older Toronto homes, the shut-off valves under sinks are often decades old and either seize or will not close fully. We check them before we start, and replace them when needed, so the new fixture has a valve you can rely on.

Condo kitchens and bathrooms are compact, and access to shut-offs can depend on the building. Tell us your building and unit when you book so we can plan the visit.

Choosing new fixtures? Our guide to water-saving fixtures that are worth it covers which upgrades actually pay off.

Good times to upgrade a fixture

  • A faucet that drips even when fully closed
  • Low flow from a kitchen or bathroom tap
  • A loose or wobbly faucet or vanity
  • Shut-off valves under the sink that will not turn
  • Renovating a kitchen, bathroom or laundry room
  • Adding a bidet, dishwasher or fridge water line

A dripping faucet wastes more water than most people think. See the real cost of a dripping faucet.

What affects the cost

Fixture jobs are quoted on site after we see the setup. You approve a flat price before work begins. The main factors are:

  • The fixture, and whether you supply it or we do
  • Whether shut-off valves or supply lines need replacing
  • Drain or trap changes, such as moving a sink or fixing old plumbing behind a vanity
  • Wall-mount fixtures or new water lines that need to be run

There are no dispatch fees or overtime charges. See how our diagnostic and flat pricing works.

Toronto fixture installation questions

Can you install a faucet or fixture I bought myself?

Yes. We do install-only jobs for fixtures you supply, as well as supply-and-install. Tell us the model when you book so we can check it suits your sink and connections.

How much does faucet installation cost in Toronto?

It depends on the faucet, whether the shut-off valves and supply lines need replacing, and whether you supply the faucet. You get a flat price before any work starts. Our pricing page explains how the diagnostic works.

Do bidet seats need a plumber?

Many bidet seats connect to the toilet's existing water supply with a tee valve. A plumber makes sure the connection and shut-off are sound and leak-free, and some models also need a nearby outlet, which is an electrician's job.

Should I replace my shut-off valves when I replace a faucet?

If they are old, stiff or do not close fully, yes. It costs little to do while the fixture is off, and a working shut-off is what stops a small leak becoming a flood.

Can you move a sink to a new location?

Yes. Moving a sink means running new supply lines and a drain with proper venting, which we plan with you, often as part of a kitchen or bathroom renovation.

Do you install fixtures in condos?

Yes. Tell us your building and unit when you book, and whether management needs notice, a booked shut-off or proof of insurance.
