Plumber On Dial (“we”, “us”) provides plumbing services in Aurora, Ontario and the surrounding area. This policy explains what personal information we collect through plumberondial.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
- Quote and service requests. When you fill in the form on this site we collect your name, phone number, the service you select, and anything you write in the message box.
- Phone calls and texts. When you call or text us we receive your phone number and whatever details you give us about the job, including your service address.
- Job records. If you hire us we keep the details needed to do and bill the work, such as your address, the work performed, and invoices.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To call you back, quote, schedule, and carry out the work you asked about.
- To send invoices, handle warranty follow-ups, and keep the business records the law requires.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it to do that job. These include our website hosting provider, the email service that delivers form submissions to us, and our phone, scheduling, and invoicing providers. Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and third-party content
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the service-area map loads map images from OpenStreetMap. Those providers receive your IP address when your browser requests that content.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests that do not turn into a job for up to 12 months. We keep customer and job records for as long as needed for warranty, tax, and legal purposes, and then delete or anonymize them.
How we protect it
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid putting sensitive details such as payment card numbers in the quote form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it, subject to legal and contractual limits. To do so, contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
